140mm WKRET-MET KMH-60 Insulation to OSB Wood Screws

140mm WKRET-MET KMH-60 Insulation to OSB Wood Screws are used for connecting wooden and wood-based elements, for fastening PVC elements or for fastening steel elements. KMH have a conical head with a PZ socket. The screws are made of low-carbon steel covered with a protective layer of yellow zinc.

Intended Use

Suitable for use on wood, chipboard, plywood, sterling board, MDF board substrates. Typically used in conjunction with fixing discs to anchor insulation to OSB.

Installation Method

1. Before starting the installation, select the appropriate length of screws depending on the thickness of the fastened elements and the minimum anchoring depth.
2. The connected wooden elements should be free from defects (knots, cracks, discolourations, rot, defects in structure and shape, mechanical damage), as this reduces their strength
3. Screws should be installed using a screwdriver and a suitable PZ-type socket tip.
4. Screws should be screwed directly into the wooden substrate without drilling holes first.
