30mm Rockwool RockLap Pipe Insulation ( 34mm Outer diameter ) sections are pre-formed stone wool insulation segments designed for easy installation. These sections are pre-slit and feature a factory-applied foil facing with a self-adhesive lap. This design allows the sections to be quickly snapped onto pipework and sealed with backing tape.
30mm Rockwool RockLap Pipe Insulation sections are ideal for insulating heating and ventilation pipes in various environments, including buildings, plants, and other structures. They have consistently provided high-performance thermal insulation in diverse climates and exposure conditions for over 60 years.
30mm RockLap H&V Pipe Sections are cylindrical stone wool insulation segments, pre-slit for easy installation and equipped with a foil facing and an integral self-adhesive lap.
RockLap H&V Pipe Sections are ideal for pipework operating between 0°C and 200°C. They are specifically tested for providing fire stopping where steel and copper pipes penetrate fire-resistant walls and floors. This testing ensures that the insulation can run continuously through the separating element, saving time and labor costs by eliminating the need for local removal or replacement of the pipe insulation.
• Euroclass A2L -s1,d0. • Tested to EN 1366-3, the harmonised European standard for the fire resistance of penetration seals. • Provide up to 120 minutes* fire resistance integrity and insulation.
30mm Rockwool RockLap H&V Pipe Sections are water repellent. However, when used or stored outdoors, the insulation should be protected with a waterproof covering. For cold pipe insulation, joints should be sealed with foil tape to prevent condensation.
30mm Rockwool Pipe insulation is suitable for insulating pipes operating between 0°C and 250°C. To maintain the bond strength of the foil facing, the insulation thickness should ensure that the outer surface temperature does not exceed 80°C.
Rockwool stone wool insulation products are highly resilient, durable, and dimensionally stable, maintaining their thickness and shape over time. Tests have shown that Rockwool insulation retains its insulating properties and characteristics for over 65 years after initial installation.
