Intended Uses

EWI Pro – Metal Screw Fixings are designed for attaching insulation boards to substrates ABCDE. Featuring a plastic-coated metal pin, these fixings effectively minimize thermal bridging.

They are suitable for concrete, brick, and other types of blockwork. If unsure about the substrate's suitability, a pull test is recommended to confirm it can support an EWI system. These fixings are compatible with EPS, XPS, and Mineral Wool insulation boards.

Application Instructions

• Drill a hole perpendicular to the substrate and remove any debris.
• Create a countersink recess using a router or cutter.
• Insert the connector into the hole, ensuring the anchor plate sits flush with the EWI/ETICS indented layer.
• Secure the fixing by either screwing in or tapping the connector pin with a hammer.
• Insert a thermo dowel cap for added insulation.
• Verify positioning and sealing to ensure a secure fit.
