Knauf Aquapanel Q4 Finish is a premium filling material designed for full-surface skim coating of joints by hand, achieving the highest Q4 standard. This top-tier plasterboard finish—Level 4—is known for its smooth, seamless surface, ready to receive decorative treatments. Mastering the art of plaster skimming, especially to achieve a Q4 finish, can be challenging, but Knauf Aquapanel Q4 Finish makes it easier, producing a fine, flawless surface on both Aquapanel Interior and Exterior Cement Boards. It serves as an excellent base for smooth, glossy, or finely textured wall coverings and can be used in humid environments, though it is not suitable for areas exposed to direct water spray.

Coverage: Approximately 1.7 kg/m² per mm of coating depth. A 20kg bag covers around 11.76 m² when applied at a thickness of 1mm.

Installation Instructions:

• Ensure Aquapanel Cement Board panels are dry, clean, dust-free, and securely fixed to the substructure.
• Use a clean mixing container and tool.
• If necessary, add a small amount of water.
• Apply as a skim coat on walls above tiles without the need for reinforcing mesh.
• The maximum coating depth is 2mm per application.
• Mix 20 kg of Aquapanel Joint Filler with approximately 6.8 liters of cold, clean water, using a 600 rpm stirring machine.
• Fill joints and screw heads, apply Aquapanel Tape, and press in with a trowel. Allow the coat to dry or harden before applying additional layers, if needed.
