Cellcore HX Plus is a cellular construction of Expanded Polystyrene that is designed for use beneath reinforced concrete floor slabs to protect against the potential effects of ground heave and provides insulation. It consists of a cellular construction of Expanded Polystyrene bonded to a Filcor insulation layer and protected by a thin polypropylene sheet. The product has been designed, moulded and tested to tight tolerances to achieve the specified performance characteristics. It has a wide range of profiles and grades to suit different applications, and is BBA certified and meets the NHBC's Technical Standards. It is a moulded production for enhanced and consistent performance. The standard range of products are available in different depths and grades to suit different soil heave potential, concrete depth and U-value requirements.
