Description

Unilin Insulation | The new name for Xtratherm Insulation in the UK & Ireland.

34.5mm Thin-R Thermal Liner XT/TL Insulated Plasterboard (Dot & Dab) is a composite insulated panel that consists of a Unilin 25mm PIR insulation core, sandwiched between two composite kraft facings. The facings are bonded to 9.5mm tapered edge plasterboard and fixed in place with a proprietary adhesive bonding system.

The 34.5mm insulated plasterboard is specifically designed for internal wall applications, and the composite kraft facing on both sides includes an integral vapor control layer to help prevent condensation. The Thin-R Thermal Liner provides high levels of thermal insulation, as well as drylining, all in one operation, making it the ideal solution for new construction or renovation projects.

About

34.5mm Thermal Liner XT/TL is designed to provide high levels of thermal insulation and drylining in one operation, providing the solution of choice in newbuild and refurbishment projects. It improves energy efficiency of your home and has many benefits, including reduced energy costs and improved living conditions.

34.5mm Insulation Board is chemically inert and safe to use manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Investing in the energy efficiency of your home can have numerous benefits, including lower energy costs and improved living conditions. Thin-R Thermal Liner is an effective way to help achieve these goals and make your home more energy efficient.

The PIR board also provides a level of fire resistance due to the continuous adhesive ribbons, especially around openings, such as those around windows and doors.

What are Insulated Plasterboards?

The 34.5mm XT/TL insulated plasterboards ( 25mm insulation + 9.5mm plasterboard ) are a type of building material that combines plasterboard with an insulation layer, typically made from PIR Insulation. The insulation layer is bonded to the plasterboard to create a single, multi-functional panel that provides both insulation and a finished surface. They are often used in construction to improve thermal and sound insulation, as well as to simplify and speed up the installation process. They are commonly used in walls, ceilings, and floors, and can come in a variety of sizes and thicknesses to suit different building requirements.
